Well, I made it. I almost missed my flight in Casablanca because I missed the train I was supposed to take to the airport, but I managed to get from the train station, through check-in, through security, and onto the plane in 17 minutes. Eighteen hours later, I touched down in Dallas.
A few things I really appreciate about America right now (in no particular order):
- grass
- trees
- landscaping
- rain
- my parents' dog
- my parents
- my family in general
- beds
- air conditioning
- tap water that won't give me diarreah
- DRIVING (especially with the windows down & music turned up loud)
- drivers who obey traffic laws most of the time
- drivers who have been to driving school
- high-speed internet connections
- my music (which will soon be burned onto CDs)
- real restaurants
- good food
- people that don't stare at me when I walk down the street
- people that mind their own business
- people that work
- movies
I'm sure I'll think of more later, but I'm a little distracted right now because WE'RE UNDER A TORNADO WARNING. I was just outside watching the cloud rotation over my parents' house. This is awesome. Oh yeah, I got pics from the last couple months uploaded...
